Journalists and content creators with an official press card can obtain accreditation at any time at the Anime Messe Babelsberg. Journalists and content creators without a press card can only register online.

Applications without an official press card will be carefully reviewed, and we generally issue a maximum of two press passes per editorial team. It is important that there is an active and thematically relevant community that regularly creates content related to anime, Japan, or related topics. Please understand that we may decline requests if:

- there is no clear connection to anime/Japan,
- the community is not very active, or
- there is no relevant reach regarding the topic.

We want to ensure that our accreditations are granted to individuals who provide valuable and relevant content for their community.
