Jerusalem in 1273. A lone knight wanders the desert that was once the fertile Holy Land. The uprooted people of the region seek refuge in the Holy City, now ruled by the Knights of the Round Table under Lion King Arthur. Supposedly, on every night of the new moon, refugees have a chance to be accepted into the city. So the wandering knight Bedivere meets the strange team of Master Ritsuka Fujimaru, Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight and Servant Leonardo da Vinci at the gates of the city. They have come to this age in search of the Holy Grail to prevent the impending doom of humanity in the future. In the face of overwhelming enemies, however, they can soon only fight for their survival ...
