Miku Sawai

Welcome the Japanese Anime-POP icon Miku Sawai to the Anime Messe "Platzhalter" from 17 to 19 May in the Filmpark Babelsberg and celebrate the theme songs of "Kill la Kill", "Akame ga Kill", "Kimi to Boku" and "Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend."

Miku Sawai is a Japanese musician from Osaka. In her elementary school she wrote many poems, but when she became a fan of singer YUI, she decided to become a musician herself. While still at school she received a contract from Sony Music in 2009 and celebrated her big debut two years later with her single "Atashi, Kyō, Shitsuren Shimashita". Already her second single "Nakimushi" was taken as ending for the TV-Anime "Kimi to Boku". On 5 June 2013 her first album was released under the name "Sentimental". In the same year followed the single "Gomen ne Iiko ja Irarenai", which was used as an ending for the cult Anime "Kill la Kill". In 2014 followed the ending to the very popular Anime "Akame ga Kill!" and in 2015 the ending for "Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend".

Look forward to two J-POP concerts on Saturday and Sunday on our big indoor stage and get to know Miku Sawai better during her signing sessions and Q&A panel.
