The role of the titular protagonist Nana Oosaki earned her a nomination for the AnimaniA Award 2024. We are talking about the voice actress, dialogue writer and dubbing director Vera Bunk, who we are delighted to welcome to Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024! A graduate of the TRANSform acting school in Berlin, Vera Bunk has already appeared in over 100 films and series and has also provided the voice for numerous anime productions. Her roles have included Agnes Joubert from "Tiger & Bunny" and Erika Meinohama in "Rifle Is Beautiful". In the Nickelodeon animated series "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", she voices the tough April O'Neil. She wrote the dialogue for the action anime "Infini-T Force". For this year's AnimaniA Awards, she has been nominated in the Best Voice Actress Lead Role category for her outstanding dubbing performance as Nana Oosaki in what she herself describes as her favourite project "Nana".
