Katharina von Daake is not only active as a voice actress, who you know from her roles as Shinoa in "Seraph of the End" and Mio in "Testament of Sister New Devil", among others, but also bears full responsibility for the success of a German dubbed version as a dialogue book author and dubbing director. This includes the surprise hit "Lycoris Recoil" and the popular RomCom "Golden Time". Katharina von Daake will have the honour of taking part in the dubbing panel on Friday and Saturday on our outdoor stage at Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024. She will also lead the dubbing workshop on each of these days!
It's not just the voices that matter. A great German dubbed version also stands and falls with a carefully crafted dialogue book and conscientious dialogue direction. Katharina von Daake, who was born in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and now lives in Munich, knows both sides: As a voice actress, for example, she lent her voice to the red-haired demoness Mio Naruse from "The Testament of Sister New Devil", the distinguished yet slightly arrogant beauty Luviagelita Edelfelt from the "Fate" universe, the gentle Kokoro from "Darling in the Franxx" and many other ladies (and a few gentlemen). As a scriptwriter and dialogue director, her repertoire includes top-class films such as "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" and the associated film "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl", as well as the German versions of fan favourites such as "Fruits Basket", the edutainment series "Cells at Work" and the popular RomCom "Horimiya" and many other films and series!
